About Us

About Us

Eagle Track is a community-based tourism operator. Our zipline Eco adventure is operated in a co-operative manner with the Ethno-ecoagricultural Livelihood Conservation Group in Baan Wang Hang, Maeram.
Tombol Maeram in the Maerim district, is the location for our zipline adventure, which is less than one hours' drive from Chiang Mai's city center. Near to our base camp, you can see the Maeram river with the paddy fields being farmed nearby with crops of rice, soy beans or egg plants being grown or harvested.

Three villages are situated close-by, one near the base camp, another is up the hillside to our Silver package starting point and the third one is further up the road to our Gold package starting point. The local villagers have received full training in how to operate our zipline adventure safely and work together closely to ensure smooth & safe operation at all times. We have a perfect safety record.

We care greatly for the local environment and sustainability of the forest & jungle in the three local villages in MaeRam. A program of replanting has commenced to ensure the longevity of this green space. We are also monitoring the hillside area to make sure that the earth banks and the paths around the villages are not eroded or damaged by the increased foot-traffic from our travelers.

Eagle Track provides sustained employment, lodgings for local staff near the base camp, as well as all meals for our local Hmong & Karen hill tribe people involved in zipline operations. We are pleased to be able to support the local people with improved employment opportunities within the communities that they love so much.
